Digital Cameras Best Buys reviews Sony, Samsung and Toshiba

By Angela Sapiana

Toshiba, Sony and Samsung all make digital cameras. Among the digital cameras best buys reviewed on the market, here's my take on where these three digital camera companies stack up. Note: The three digital camera reviews here are on smaller, amateur cameras - as opposed to the professional SLR models.

Samsung has raised the bar with its DIGIMAX S1000 "point-and-shoot" camera. With 10.1 megapixels, photos frames, highlights and color effects, it's one of the easiest and most fun digital cameras on the market. This camera is ideal for the shoot-on-the go person who's interested in high quality photos with little effort.

Toshiba Digital Cameras: Toshiba cameras are traditionally of very good quality, with excellent memory capacity. If you're annoyed each time you run out of memory, get a Toshiba with an SD card and that shouldn't be a problem. Make sure you don't get one of the High Performance SD cards though, the Toshiba can't read those. I would not recommend these cameras for professional work because they lack the sheer power of Sony - they are great amateur cameras.

Sony's DSC-T10 is a great digital camera for digital camera enthusiasts. if you like features like F-stop, outdoor, redeye and photo editing tools, the Sony models could be for you. While not as easy to use as the Toshiba models, and not 10.1 mega-pixel producer like the Samsung, the Sony is a great mid-tier camera. I'd advise it for anyone who loves to e-mail photos, post party photos to Facebook or print 4x6's for scrap books.
